LOCALLY
MADE

We live and work on Awabakal land in the coastal city of Newcastle on the east coast of Australia (about 2 hours north of Sydney). We are fortunate to enjoy some of the best beaches in the world as well as an abundance of pristine national parks.

LOCAL
INGREDIENTS

We currently work with over 2000 unique raw materials including organic essential and carrier oils, native botanical extracts, superfoods, floral hydrosols, waxes and butters. Bespoke and cutting edge cosmetic ingredients can be sourced from our vast network of suppliers — from local flower farmers to importers of exotic salts and clays.

We source our materials from trusted Australian suppliers with an emphasis on collaborating with local organic farms that use healthy and regenerative agricultural practices.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING

Our philosophy is simple, less is more when it comes to packaging. We believe in using less materials, less virgin plastic and minimizing our impact. It’s about a commitment to doing better by using compostable, plant based and recyclable packaging materials. 

Not only are we passing our zero-waste approach onto our clients and leading the way in the eco-conscious space, but we carry this philosophy throughout our own production and manufacturing processes. For instance, we partner with Terracycle to help recycle our production consumables like rubber gloves and hairnets. We also use 100% recycled cardboard shipped cartons to pack your products into. 

We believe in reducing the burden on our environment caused from non-recyclable packaging. We specialize in using zero and low waste packaging solutions. We have access to the latest innovations in sustainable compostable and plant based packaging including post consumer recycled (PCR), sugar cane derived and compostable materials as well as vegetable ink based printing.

GIVING BACK &
CERTIFICATIONS

We believe in giving back to the community and protecting the pristine environment we are surrounded by. We proudly support several charities where a portion of our sales are donated directly to environmental and social non-profit organisations.

We offset our carbon emissions through partnering with trace, making us Australia’s first and only beauty and personal care carbon neutral contract manufacturer.

Our production facility is accredited with GMP ISO 22716 certification and Australian Certified Organic.

Imaginelle Formulations’ supply chain and manufacturing facility is also accredited with the world’s leading ethical trade membership organisation SEDEX SMETA 4 PILLAR.

Lastly, we recently were the proud winners of the 2021 Hunter Business Award for the category of Excellence in Sustainability.
